Elections

Elections are held twice a year to elect forty two representatives; there are two undergraduate full-time students from each class within each college. Elections for Sophomore, Junior and Senior Representatives are held in the Spring semester every year while, elections for Freshmen representatives are held in the fall semester each year.

Applications for Freshmen reps. to serve for the 2017-2018 academic year will be available in the Fall of 2017.
Applications for Sophomore, Junior and Senior reps. to serve 2018-2019 will be available in the Spring of 2018.

As elected members of Student Government, Inc. they are responsible for communicating the concerns of the class group they represent, and working toward developing solutions with administration and faculty, addressing these concerns. They are the voting members of the SGI floor, charged with the responsibility of approving: all budgetary spending, new or re-activated organizations as well as participating in their respective SGI committees The eligibility requirements for the representative position is outlined in the constitution.


Elections for the Executive Board  are held only once a year. The eboard consists of seven individuals: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Senior Senator, Junior Senator and Sophomore Senator. The requirements and description of duties for each position is outline in the constitution.

Applications for executive board for 2018-2019 will be available in the Spring of 2018.
